Description of Significance THE KINGFISHER ARMORY IS A TWO-STORY RECTANGULAR BRICK BUILDING WITH CAST STONE ACCENTS. THE BUILDING WAS CONSTRUCTED BY THE WORKS PROGRESS ADMINISTRATION IN 1936, AS A PARK OF A LOCAL RELIEF PROJECT. MANY OF THE ORIGINAL WINDOWS REMAIN, ALTHOUGH MANY OF THE EXTERIOR DOORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. LISTED IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER - 4/7/94.
